Tax Preparation Assistance Available for North Central West Virginia

The beginning of a new year indicates it’s time to start thinking about tax season!

The IRS will begin accepting and processing 2022 federal tax returns during the first month of the year. The deadline to file taxes typically falls on April 15 unless the date falls on a weekend or holiday.

WVHDF’s Homeowners Rescue Program now offering homeowners foreclosure counseling and relief funds to get caught up on delinquent mortgage payments

The HomeOwnership Center is proud to be a participating organization in the West Virginia Homeowners Rescue Program, a new program from the West Virginia Housing Development Fund utilizing federal rescue funds to assist homeowners who have been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is designed to help folks who are delinquent on their mortgage, need assistance with paying utilities and/or paying property taxes.
